covered an atlanta thrashers game tonight
for my sports reporting class
it was way cooler than when we covered the hawks game because it was a new experience. i hadn’t been to a hockey game since i was really young so it was nice to watch the game after having more experience and being older so i could appreciate it.

went to the big boi concert tonight
it was entertaining on a lot of levels.
we missed yung humma and flynt flossy, which sucked, but i took some pictures of them and these dudes were still in character with the fake beards and everything.

the new orleans jazz & heritage festival could be...
arcade fire, lauryn hill, the strokes, lupe fiasco. there’s a lot more artists that i’m less familiar with or who i’m not fond of but i like jazz so they could grow on me. plus the tickets are only $45 a day.
or i might just hold out and see what the bonnaroo and lollapalooza lineups are, but i have to make it to some kind of festival this year!
